Amazing! We’re proud to announce that ShapeUp Club today reached 1 million users!

We send a huge thank you to all our users and are now heading for 2012, which will be a very exciting year for ShapeUp Club!

Just wanted to share some information about the new chart section available at ShapeUpClub.com. Some of the features:

• See calorie summary, nutrition summary, meal summary or calories from exercise
• Select a date range (7 days, 30 days, 60 days, complete progress) or choose a custom date range
• See your calorie progress over time using bar or area charts
• Print or export directly in charts
• Much faster, using HTML5 (works on iPad)

Visit your account at http://www.shapeupclub.com/my/Charts.aspx to see your progress in the charts yourself.

Hope you all had a great start of the new year, we have and are now excited for a whole year with lots of fun and new ShapeUp Club events.
We start NOW, and let’s begin with the charts. In all honesty, they need a little boost. We will in the coming weeks work on improving the charts of ShapeUp Club and we therefore now turn to you. Do you have any wishes? What do you think needs to be improved?
Make a wish, no idea is crazy enough, we want to know exactly what you want! Send an email with your thoughts and ideas to: contact@shapeupclub.com, leave a comment on our blog, or write in the forum. We’ll do our best to implement your ideas.

And if you have any other thoughts, questions or requests, you are of course also welcome to enrich us with these as well.

As you might know we have in the last days been installing the new version of ShapeUpClub.com, which includes for example the new Gold features. As ShapeUp Club is growing we are at the same time moving to a new server to keep up the speed of the site. Due to some problems, data from 2010-12-22 was lost during the transfer we have now restored the data from backup so now everything should be up and running again. If you have any questions regarding this please contact us at contact@shapeupclub.com and we will help you out.

With only a few days til’ Christmas we decided its time to launch our new service, ShapeUp Club Gold.

All of our website members will from now on be called Gold members, and this means a range of new features for you to use, such as;

• Full backup of all your data
• Copy & paste food and meals from previous days
• Create meals directly from your diary
• Keep track of fruit and vegetables intake with the FruitTracker
• Export your data to a excel or pdf document
• Unlimited tracking possibilites, track your; arms, legs, bloodpressure, push ups
• Access to all your data at shapeupclub.com

Together with the release of ShapeUp Club Gold we  will now also make it possible for ALL OUR MEMBERS to use shapeupclub.com, for free!

So if you are now only working the iPhone app, make sure to also check out your ShapeUp Club account online!

Wow! Thank you so much for all the great feedback you have given us on the 3.0 version of ShapeUp Club for iPhone!

We have been listening to your thoughts and this last week we have been working with some improvements of your wishes. The most important thing is that you can now keep track of the maconutrients in the diary, using either a pie chart or easy-to-follow bars.

Have any one of you succeeded to snatch one of the new iPad’s yet?
I must admit that I have, couldn’t resist it, and I really love it!
Why? Well to express myself as a girl; it’s so pretty! =)
(No I don’t care about what it can do, I simply just need it because of its prettiness…)

A lot of people have asked for a ShapeUp Club version for the iPad. And I totally agree with you, it would be really cool and I believe we could do a lot of amazing things with the charts (and the rest also of course…).

But I’m really sorry to say that we for now aren’t producing ShapeUp Club for the iPad, no matter how cool it would be. However, we will probably do this sometime in the future, as soon as we have the time!

I’m also really looking forward to the press release of Apples next “must-have”- gadget tonight. Do you believe the rumors? Is a new iPhone about to hit the market and blind us to the rest of the world all over again?

I hope so, would love to see how we can improve ShapeUp Club for a new iPhone, were it all began =)

Whats happening at ShapeUp Club today? Some time off maybe? Enjoying the weekend?

Noo, no, no, no. Full time, hard work is whats happening here. But ok, we might be enjoying it a bit, feels great having this new office and getting so much work done!

Right now we’re working with the 3.0 release of ShapeUp Club. A lot to do, and our hopes is to release it during this summer (july maybe?!). We are hopeful and trying to get as much as possible done so we can get it out to you soon!

I dont have all the details about the 3.0 to share with you yet, but it does include a full redesign of the iphone app and some new features to the website. We gathered all your wishes and have started to produce some of them now.
So thanks a lot for all your input! You are awesome and your ideas are super!

Its a bit of a storm outside my window, but at least the trees are green now =)
