The ShapeUp Blog

The 2.01 version with some bugfixes is now available for download from App Store.

As I wrote in the last post, we are also working on a new 2.1 version where we focus on making the sync much faster and much more stable. We will also reinvent the “Custom measurement” in the add food section as many users have requested this. Another thing we will change is the calorie markers, as this also have been requested. Hopefully it will be ready for shipping to Apple in the next week!

So, we finally got hold of Apple and asked if anything was wrong, and why this update has taken so long.
They were really nice, apologized for the delay and explained that they were swamped with work.

But they promised to approve the application right away, and it will be uploaded in the nearest days!

Now I’ve been waiting and waiting for weeks to be able to greet you all welcome to ShapeUp Club Online. Open the doors to this website and get this all started, once and for all!

But Apple hasn’t yet approved the new update, and we have no idea what the hold up is about.
Last night we realized that they have submitted the 2.0 versions picture on App Store in the United States, but not in any other country, and also without the possibility to actually download the update. Very weird.
Therefore we sent them an email asking why it is taking so long, and what’s up with the pictures?!
Still no answers, but I will tell you as soon as they tell us.

My idea was to start blogging when everything was ready and released. But since it’s taking forever and I don’t want to wait anymore, I will instead use this blog to tell you everything about this delay and let you all be as updated about the situation as we are.

Also, I bought something today I know a lot of you use to keep track of your weight and bodies.
I think I will go and take some pictures of it and show you what it is in the next post! Be right back!

We have now been working for a long time with the new version of ShapeUp Club and with the online version ShapeUpClub.com. Now finally it’s ready! The new 2.0 version will be available for download as soon as Apple approves it. As you know it took a little longer then expected, but you also know we have done everything we can to get it ready for you as soon as possible.

We have tried to listen as much as possible to all the feedback we got from you, our users. Thank you so much for all the positive feedback, it’s great and we couldn’t do without it!
