Wow! Thank you so much for all the great feedback you have given us on the 3.0 version of ShapeUp Club for iPhone!
We have been listening to your thoughts and this last week we have been working with some improvements of your wishes. The most important thing is that you can now keep track of the maconutrients in the diary, using either a pie chart or easy-to-follow bars.
See the new version 3.1 below or try it yourself by downloading from App Store here: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/shapeup-club-calorie-tracker/id286906691?mt=8

Have any one of you succeeded to snatch one of the new iPad’s yet?
I must admit that I have, couldn’t resist it, and I really love it!
Why? Well to express myself as a girl; it’s so pretty! =)
(No I don’t care about what it can do, I simply just need it because of its prettiness…)
A lot of people have asked for a ShapeUp Club version for the iPad. And I totally agree with you, it would be really cool and I believe we could do a lot of amazing things with the charts (and the rest also of course…).
But I’m really sorry to say that we for now aren’t producing ShapeUp Club for the iPad, no matter how cool it would be. However, we will probably do this sometime in the future, as soon as we have the time!

I’m also really looking forward to the press release of Apples next “must-have”- gadget tonight. Do you believe the rumors? Is a new iPhone about to hit the market and blind us to the rest of the world all over again?
I hope so, would love to see how we can improve ShapeUp Club for a new iPhone, were it all began =)

ShapeUp Club was reviewed in MacWorld today! =)

Hi!
Sorry for not updating the blog for a while now, we are for the moment working around the clock on the final touches on our ShapeUp Club application for Nokia.
This will hopefully be released within a few months from now.
In March, we will also begin with a major update of the iPhone application and the website, regarding both design and functionality.
Now is therefore the right time for you to tell us about your own ideas and wishes for new features or maybe layout improvements to ShapeUp Club.
So please send us an email to contact@shapeupclub.com and let us know about your ideas, we’ll do our best to during the coming month, make your ideas come true.
Sincerely, Tove and Martin

This will be just a short post. Just wanted to say that the new version of ShapeUp Club is available for download from App Store!
Also right now we are working on improving the website, we have made a total redesign of the Diary page that we are working with right now! We promise it will be both faster and easier to use!

A new 2.2.1 version was just sent to Apple! We have been trying to simplify the way you can create your own food in the iPhone app, hope you will like it!
The sync seems to work fine now, haven’t received any more complaints. Now we will start focus on fixing the website, we have a lot of improvments to do. We will post a list of things we will fix and when it will be done as soon as possible.
Please contact us if you have any questions or if you want to report problems.

Hi!
Now the 2.2 version of the ShapeUp Club iPhone app is available for download from App Store!
What do you think? Is the sync working better than in the last version?
Hope you will enjoy it!

Me and Lina measured each other’s blood pressure today at school, very interesting!

Did you know that a high blood pressure can lead to, for example, heart failure, strokes and heart attacks? It is not really clear what causes high blood pressure (or hypertension), but obesity is a common factor found in people suffering from this.
One way to avoid hypertension can be to lose weight and doing some exercise!
So take care of yourself and each other, try to eat right and go out for a walk now and then, and you might steer clear of these risks.
If you suspect that you are suffering from a high blood pressure consult with your doctor right away! There are several things to do to get it down again. Don’t wait.
Not a very bright post perhaps, but important. A high blood pressure doesn’t need to be dangerous, but it could. Therefore I believe precation is the way to go!
Now lets move on to a brigter subject, the debugging process for the new version of ShapeUp Club.
I am happy to tell you that it is running very smoothly, and we were able to send the update to Apple to night (Swedish time) for approval.
The new release will contain:
- A faster and more stable sync
- The return of custom measurement, hopefully a bit easier to deal with this time
- The calorie markers have been improved to be more motivating but still trying to point you in the right direction
I hope you will enjoy it!
With all my best
Tove

The 2.01 version with some bugfixes is now available for download from App Store.
As I wrote in the last post, we are also working on a new 2.1 version where we focus on making the sync much faster and much more stable. We will also reinvent the “Custom measurement” in the add food section as many users have requested this. Another thing we will change is the calorie markers, as this also have been requested. Hopefully it will be ready for shipping to Apple in the next week!
Thanks for using ShapeUp Club!
Regards, Martin

So, we finally got hold of Apple and asked if anything was wrong, and why this update has taken so long.
They were really nice, apologized for the delay and explained that they were swamped with work.
But they promised to approve the application right away, and it will be uploaded in the nearest days!
