Amazing! We’re proud to announce that ShapeUp Club today reached 1 million users!

We send a huge thank you to all our users and are now heading for 2012, which will be a very exciting year for ShapeUp Club!

From January 1th, 2012 we will remove the Nokia app from Ovi store and in the future focus on platforms like iPhone and Android.

Our current users will still be able to use the app but we will not continue to develop for Nokia. The sync feature with ShapeUpClub.com will however not be available from December 2011.
We hope that we can develop for Nokia in the future on their new Phone 7 devices.

As you might know we have in the last days been installing the new version of ShapeUpClub.com, which includes for example the new Gold features. As ShapeUp Club is growing we are at the same time moving to a new server to keep up the speed of the site. Due to some problems, data from 2010-12-22 was lost during the transfer we have now restored the data from backup so now everything should be up and running again. With only a few days til’ Christmas we decided its time to launch our new service, ShapeUp Club Gold.

All of our website members will from now on be called Gold members, and this means a range of new features for you to use, such as;

• Full backup of all your data
• Copy & paste food and meals from previous days
• Create meals directly from your diary
• Keep track of fruit and vegetables intake with the FruitTracker
• Export your data to a excel or pdf document
• Unlimited tracking possibilites, track your; arms, legs, bloodpressure, push ups
• Access to all your data at shapeupclub.com

Together with the release of ShapeUp Club Gold we  will now also make it possible for ALL OUR MEMBERS to use shapeupclub.com, for free!

So if you are now only working the iPhone app, make sure to also check out your ShapeUp Club account online!

We changed the design and usability of ShapeUp Club.

These thoughts have during the whole process been our guidelines:

• Speed, flexibility, easiness
• A nice and peaceful enviroment
• A better & more effective functionality

EDIT: Everything should now be up and working again, with new server hardware installed.

We are currently having problem with our server, so you may experience problem using ShapeUp Club. These problems will affect the online search tool in the mobile apps, and the website.

We are so sorry for this, and our hosting company are  working on finding a solution to the problems!
Everything will hopefully be up and running properly again very soon.

In the meantime I can happily tell you that a fully improved website is on its way, and will be released in a couple of days.

Here’s a glimps of how the site will look like, we will tell you more about the features and improvements by the time its released.

Have any one of you succeeded to snatch one of the new iPad’s yet?
I must admit that I have, couldn’t resist it, and I really love it!
Why? Well to express myself as a girl; it’s so pretty! =)
(No I don’t care about what it can do, I simply just need it because of its prettiness…)

A lot of people have asked for a ShapeUp Club version for the iPad. And I totally agree with you, it would be really cool and I believe we could do a lot of amazing things with the charts (and the rest also of course…).

But I’m really sorry to say that we for now aren’t producing ShapeUp Club for the iPad, no matter how cool it would be. However, we will probably do this sometime in the future, as soon as we have the time!

I’m also really looking forward to the press release of Apples next “must-have”- gadget tonight. Do you believe the rumors? Is a new iPhone about to hit the market and blind us to the rest of the world all over again?

I hope so, would love to see how we can improve ShapeUp Club for a new iPhone, were it all began =)

Moved in here yesterday and we can now finally organize the work better and get more done, since both of us are now working full time in the company =)
This is the place were ShapeUp Club is gonna be the best Calorie Tracker there is! (or maybe we already are? Well, in that case, now we’re getting even better!)

Hard work in the office =)

Hi!
What have we been up to these last months?! A lot has happened, ShapeUp Club’s calorie tracker is pretty much ready to soon hit the Ovi Store (Nokia). Dont mean to be bias, but its really cool and looks great. You know what, heres some pictures:

Now what’s on the schedule for us?
Total redesign and upgrade of the iPhone app and website.
Will tell you more as soon as we know more =)
Gonna dig ourselves deep into the ShapeUp code and design, which will hopefully lead to ShapeUp Club 3.0!
