Hi!
Sorry for not updating the blog for a while now, we are for the moment working around the clock on the final touches on our ShapeUp Club application for Nokia.
This will hopefully be released within a few months from now.
In March, we will also begin with a major update of the iPhone application and the website, regarding both design and functionality.
Now is therefore the right time for you to tell us about your own ideas and wishes for new features or maybe layout improvements to ShapeUp Club.
So please send us an email to contact@shapeupclub.com and let us know about your ideas, we’ll do our best to during the coming month, make your ideas come true.

Maybe there could be a healthy recipe section on the app, to encourage you to cook your own healthy meals with associated calorie and nutrient content? And perhaps other people could add recipes to the site and to the online database in a similar way to foods?
Also maybe some directions or advice pages on things like portion sizes, how to make a balanced meal etc. All the things that will help people who are just starting to make better meal choices.

Is there a way to gift just one month subscription to someone? If not it would be a good thing to add.

The recipe-idea is something we had plans to add in the next version. However I don’t think we’ll have time to add it in this version, but I would love to use this myself so it’s coming.
We also have plans for an Android version, you will get more information as soon as we know more.

I wish there was a “search” button on the first page after you start the app.
Often I just want to see how much calories are in a certain foodtype.
Now, I have to push the “choose meal type”-button, then choose a meal, and only then I can press the search button.
I hope you can put a search button right on the first page!
