Hi All,

Checking in again quite soon since my last post as I weighed myself yesterday at the gym.  Remember I ate some things I shouldn’t have for like 3 days since my last post – big roast dinner, alcoholic drinks (red wine and cocktails) and quite a few danish pastries and cream cakes. 

Well the good news is I didn’t gain any weight, in fact I am exactly the same weight as the week before; 83.1kgs.  I was a little disappointed, but also relieved as I did fall off the ‘diet’ wagon a bit this week.

However I do feel better for having a little time off the ’diet’ side of things and am thrilled to bits I can have quite a few indulgences without putting on any weight as long as I exercise!  This will will be useful for when I need to maintain my weight.  I also feel like I am ready to go about losing the next 2.8 stone. I was going through a bit of a motivation lull due to needing to lose the same amount as I already worked so hard to lose over the past 6 months. 

In other news I am doing the bronze level triathalon this Saturday *EEEK*! 20 lengths in the pool in under 20 minutes, 12km bike ride in under 30 mins and 3km run in under 30 mins. I’m doing it to raise money for the child tumour resarch fund at my university, and so I can prove to myself that I can! I know I can do the bike part in 20-25 mins, the 3km in about 20-25mins but not so sure about the swimming – not a very strong swimmer!  Wish me luck guys :)
