

Sorry, its been a hell of a hectic few days ay work and havent been online much, i work in the entertainment business and sometimes its quiet and dull and the next day can be so busy it hurts!
Due to work i hadnt risked starting the doctors plan yet as i didnt want to be going through any kind of headaches of withdrawal symptons whilst i had to work stressful 18hrs days, so i just been cutting back on bad food and trying to lower my caffiene and bad drinks too.
This week i luckily have a quiet week at work so today i am starting out on the doctors plan of shakes / smoothies and one small meal, i have ready for tonight a nice combination of new pototes and lean chicken which believe me for me is weirdly healthy. But until then i have had an apple/banana smoothie with crushed ice, not sure its 100% healthy but hell it tasted good! Lunch will be the first try of these nutritional protien shakes…

apple/banana smoothie is great healthy yummy breakfast. Well done trying to lay off the junk food too. You need to find a way to gradually wean a new diet into your busy lifestyle. Its better to have something healthy you like than eat something unhealthy right!
Saw your comment on my blog – thanks. I know what you mean about the gym, it is very intimidating at first. So you don’t feel like a spare wheel I would go in and talk to one of the instructors there (scary I know – but pluck up the courage and their really quite helpful – they would much rather help you than some twig who thinks their fat when their not! People like you and me are the reason most of them became health and fitness instructors in the first place!). Normally they do a free gym induction with you for about an hour were they work out with you and chat about your goals. Then you can work out there with someone and aren’t just wandering around looking awkward not knowing what to do. It’ll help you feel more relaxed. Also going with your friend at times would help as you would also be with someone.

Also next time you are at the gym, take a careful look around – I’ll bet there are people of all shapes and sizes there. And if not – its not exactly like they need to be there is it?! Keep your head held high and go for it!
